Fun Times Tuesday

This is something that's on my mind a lot at night. What is your dream job? It could be something you've always wanted to be that has nothing to do with what you do now. It just makes me curious.

Myself, I have a few. My dream jobs would be: a bridal consultant for Kleinfelds, a wedding planner for David Tutera, or a criminal profiler working for the BAU in Quantico, VA. Each has their own their own reasoning, but these are my 3. What are yours?

There are many different things I think would be more interesting than my job. I had wanted to be a fashion designer for a while. But working while trying to get to FIT was pretty difficult to do. Also , a rockette.

I always wanted to travel and eat :)  A food/travel writer would be nice.  Although, I do really like my job, I am a teacher.  It can be very cool, if you are at a great school.

I am a trainer now for my company which I love because I am training all of our employees. I would love to do something with health/exercise like work for Self or Shape magazine. Be a lawyer. Spokesperson for Weight Watchers.

I volunteer for the sex trauma department at a local shelter.  I would love to do it full time, but don't think I have the emotional energy.  I would be happy doing anti-poverty/oppression field work, but can't afford the pay cut.  Second, I'd love to be a librarian; I love spending time in libraries.  Third one would be a chef, but I'm not willing to sacrifice my wknds.

I am hopefully on my way to my dream job which is being a NICU (neonatal intensive care unit-preemie babies) nurse practitioner.  I'm trying to get into the NICU as an RN now while I finish my masters.

    Interesting question!

Either I'm really old - or been really lucky!

Throughout my life I have wanted to be a model, actress, ad sales rep and wedding planner.

Now, I'm happy to finally have a stable job as a receptionist.

But, other than actress, feel as though I have gotten a chance to almost be everything!

model - felt like a model while doing b-pics

actress - ok, haven't done that one

ad sales rep - did it for three years

wedding planner - worked for two years at a catering hall and also for two years as a bridal gown consultant. (And as it turned out, didn't use either company for my own wedding day!) But enjoyed planning my own wedding and loved the venue and dress search!

Now, in my mid-30's, I am just happy to have a steady job!

I would love to be an editor for a magazine! I have a serious magazine obsession.  I would also love to have my own business, like a dress shop or boutique.

Forgot that one! When I was younger would have loved to have been a columnist for a magazine like Seventeen. Haven't thought about that in years. Like I said, definitely an interesting question!
