I just received my first shower gift and I cried like a big baby. LOL
I walked into work and on my desk was a card. I didn't want to open it, but I couldn't help it. It was from one of my supervisors who won't be able to make it to my shower this Saturday. It has $$$$$$ in it..lol I was in shock! I started crying and went over to her and hugged her for like 10 minutes..lol I'm such a dork. But I am really greatful and appreciative! Oh, did I mention the card is gorgeous!

haha! I am hoping to be tear free..I never cry! But this wedding stuff is breaking me down from being hard core..LOL uggh, i'm getting mushy and stuff...haha!

Awe, Brandi!  You are reminding me so much of myself right now.  I'm usually not a cryer AT ALL, but I cried twice at my shower last weekend.  First, I cried when I saw the cakes because my BM's had lyrics to our wedding songs written on one of them.  Then I cried again when I opened a gift from my mom and sister...it was a cake serving set engraved with our wedding date and a saying about love.  I don't even remember the saying!  I was so embarrassed to be crying in front of all of those people. 

I guess they are happy tears, right?  I think I was just overwhelmed thinking about how much everyone cares about us and how generous they all were. 

You deserve TONS of awesome gifts and hopefully you don't cry each time you get one.  You'll be even worse than me if you do
