How do you make the simple line maps?

Thanks!

Use google maps to find your location. Zoom to desired maginification. Use print screen to take a screen shot. Paste the screen shot into Publisher or Powerpoint. Trace over the map using lines. When finished, delete the map picture.

Tell your FI to do it, LOL.  I got so frustrated trying to trace over my map, I decided to make it his problem.  He actually did a really great job!

Do what Jody said but you can also use word to do that but it's not fun.  I'm still trying to work on it.

I have heard of people using power point to do it too if you don't have publisher. I had publisher and did it the way that Jody talked about above. It was super time consuming and frustrating for me too. I ended  up handing it over to the FI after a few hours too.

Thanks everyone. I'm content with most of it, except the text.

My reception venue had these amazing maps and directions on their website.  I copied and pasted the text, and downloaded the JPEGs and it was amazing.  Sorry, doesn't really help you...but just wanted to share.  :-)

Step 1: Research a lot on the internet
    Step 2: Make a login at weddingmapper.com
Step 3: Spend hours working on your map.
Step 4: Stress about your map because it doesn't look as good as everyone elses
Step 5: Go to Etsy. Spend $40 & let someone else worry about it!

Haha...well that was my approach anyways! :-P
It was a very frustrating process & I wish I would have just started at Etsy in the first place...It was way worth the money spent for me!!
