rude or no?

A CW- kind of interning in our dept. shares my office. Feels the need to listen to techno, usually I dont care bc Im doing my work and Im busy. Lately he plays it and then will leave for lunch and just lets it keep playing on his laptop, locked. Is this rude? Or am I overly annoyed?

I'd probably say something. I work at home 100% of the time, but was always aware (and informed by my coworkers) that my voice always carries when I am on the phone.......they had no problem telling me, LOL (in a nice way).

I would just talk to him and ask him politely if he could turn it off when he leaves his area.
