Dearborn Inn Reviews?

Hi,

As anyone attended a wedding at the Dearborn Inn?  If so, can you give a review?

My FI and I went to a reception there recently.  The room was beautiful.  There were apetizers  and 2 bars out side of the room before the recpetion began.  The staff was super nice.  Unfortunately, I didn't think their food was that great;  they had a buffet.  The linens were dirty, I don't know if the linens were provided by the venue or if the couple had them brought in from somewhere else.  Overall the experience was wonderful, but I don't know if it was worth the extravagent price tag.

I have never attended a wedding there, but my uncle is the head chef and have attended many brunches. I think it's a beautiful location and the food is great! But I might be slightly biased. We are having our wedding a Henry Ford Muesum and staying at the Dearborn Inn the night before!

I have been to a wedding at the Dearborn Inn, I was not impressed. The lobby is of course beautiful, but the ballroom the wedding was in looked like any other hotel ballroom with the exception of the chandeliers. My FI and I wanted our ceremony and reception at the Henry Ford, my sister was married in martha mary chapel and had her reception at lovett hall, but this was 10 years ago, and through the cost of inflation and it becoming a "hot" wedding spot, FI and I couldn't help but laugh when we were quoted a price for a wedding and reception there, let's just say we could have bought a new car and put a down payment on a house for the amount they wanted. Its a very beautiful and memorable venue, and if you decide to go with it then I'm sure it will be beautiful! Good luck!

The price was a much smaller fraction of what they wanted for a night time event. It makes things much easier on the budget. I don't know when you're getting married but it would be something you could consider if you had your heart set on lovett hall.</div>

We are 36 days out, we have everything set, but Lovett hall is beautiful and congratulations on having your wedding there! I can not wait to see pictures of it!

I'm having my wedding ceremony and reception there in two weeks. The staff has been wonderful, the food at the tasting was wonderful (were having a plated dinner).They also negotiated with me on price so A+ so far :)
