Anyone win a "bridal package"?!?!

So I get this call last night saying that I won a "bridal package"... and this woman goes on to tell me that my FI and I just won a 2 night trip to Mexico, Bahamas, or DR... our choice! we just have to pay the airfare. In addition to the trip we also get matching aprons and 2 matching Tungstun wedding bands. All we have to do is come pick up our "package" at the Stamford Holiday Inn on Saturday. She kept repeating that we don't have to pay anything or buy anything... that we WON this. I can't help but think that this is a JOKE! and that they are selling me SOMETHING! The website is www.dinner4two.com... HAS ANYONE HAD THIS HAPPEN TO THEM!?!?!?

Everyone wins one of these - I won about 10 times.

Let me guess - you've attended at least one bridal show or signed up for emails from either Davids Bridal or Mens Warehouse. All they do is sell your information to these companies who will make you sit through a horrible presentation, ruin your Saturday, then try and sell you stuff, all for 2 nights worth of a cheap hotel room. You have to pay the taxes, fees, and airfare, and the trips are usually almost impossible to actually schedule. Trust me, it's not worth your time.

Don't do it! it's a scam.  They are trying to sell time shares.  you have to sit through this 90 min power point first and give them all your information.  AND i learned the DIDN"T even go to the bridal show.  they buy our names off a list- so they end up calling a bunch of random people who attended the bridal shows.
