Saw your post on mine about the bolero jacket. Yes I made it from a pattern. It's McCall's #M4450. REALLY easy, takes about 3-4 hours total. I shortened the sleeves from the pattern to get it just at elbow length.
I found mine at Joann's, then purchased another size for my daughter from McCall's online site. I made her black lace one too, added a "stand up" trim around the neck and part of the front.
