How much should I pay?

I asked a while back about dog sitters for our wedding day....and then realized I coach a high school team and have about 25 girls right there that would I'm sure love to make a few extra bucks.  So I'm going to ask them to see who would be interested.

My question is, what do you think is a reasonable amount to pay them?  They would probably come out and hang out with him for a few hours Friday evening, then a few hours Saturday morning and evening, and again Sunday morning.  I'm thinking hang in the house with him for a bit so he's not alone, walk him, feed him.

How much would it cost if you were to board him?  I would pay them this...and maybe a little bit more if you can afford it since they will be giving him more attention than anywhere you would board him.

Its a bit of a range, but maybe somewhere along $50 - $100?

I  dogsat a few times and usually get about $50.

i would say about $20-$25/day.  maybe around $60 for the whole weekend + a tip depending on what they tell you they did extra for him. ya know.. if they walked him.. or stayed 4 hours instead of 2 or something ya know.. 
my mom watches our animals while we are gone. i usually pay her about $20/day.

I think $20/day is more than fair.  If they disagree, they won't take the job!  

I house sat and dog sat for my boss one weekend and only made $50/day.  And I spent the whole weekend there!  Babysitting the most I ever made was $10/hour.  So for just 1 or 2 hours of their time, $20 sounds good to me.

We pay our dog-sitter $20/day which I think is a bargain. We usually drop them off at her house.
