I bleed maize and blue but there is no way I'd want to get married in the Big House or pay $6,000 for it!

I think it is such a fun great idea. However, with My FI graduating from Ohio State I don't think he would go for it.

We are a very divided house.

My 17 year old brother told me about this last fall...he is convinced that is where he will get married one day.  I would never get married on a football field. This is all the same brother that informed me I am having an Ohio State them because of our color scheme.

I went to a Tigers game where there was a wedding at home plate (the couple had won some contest). At first I thought, awww, cute! And then I witnessed the awkwardness of people saying vows in front of 40,000 strangers. BUT, getting married in an empty stadium could be kinda cool.

Even if this was MSU, absolutely not and this is coming from the woman who had Sparty at her green&white wedding.

Even if it wasn't 6 grand, this would make it feel more like a tailgate than an actual wedding.

    I love U of M... but no.. just...no

Liz- we are house divided: dad went to U of M, mom went to MSU. Growing up, I was supposed to go to MSU and big bro was supposed to go to U of M. When it was time to choose, I closed my eyes and picked. U of M won.

I sometimes secretly root for MSU. What can I say, I'm a mama's girl

I would like the reception in the club level; I've been to the club level, and its really nice.  You could do a really nice reception, and its overlooking the field, which is kind of cool.  That said, the rental fee (before you pay for food /drinks) is really steep.

I would not want to get married on the field.

There *is* and option to pay $500 for an hour of pictures on the field.  I'm a bit tempted (won't do it), but would do it for probably $200 or less.

That may have been my friend's cousin.  They won a contest and were married there last year.  <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />
