Restaurant/bar suggestions Ferndale/Royal Oak (bachelorette party)

So far for my bach party, we're going to go to a psychic for readings at a place in Ferndale. I thought afterwards we could all go out for dinner and drinks. Do you have any suggestions? I haven't been that way in a while, so not sure what's good. I'm open to a restaurant/bar or 2 separate places (may lose some people tho hopping around).

thx!!

I love Sangria in Royal Oak!

God I miss living in Ferndale! I would go to The Stop Spot on 9 mile east of Hilton. It's kind of a hole in the wall but they have the best karaoke. Even if you don't do karaoke, just go. It's always packed with young people and so much fun. It's not much of a dancing spot though.

If you want to go dancing and have an awesome time, hit Boogie Fever! They play disco, 80's, 90's...there are people in there celebrating their 21st bdays and their 50th bdays! You may see a transvestite or two (great dancers) and the floor lights up. LOTS of fun!

I also think Boogie Fever is a blast! I held a bachelorette party at Cinq in Royal Oak and that was cool too. They have semi-private rooms and a cool basement atmosphere.

I second Sangria, one of my favorite places to eat!  Memphis Smoke also has great food and a really nice rooftop.  After that, you can go to Sky Bar, Woody's, Black Finn, The Rock, Goodnight Gracie (or, Gracie's Underground is just down the street from Boogie Fever (also super fun) if you do that), Luna is a little ways north of downtown Royal Oak, or there is also the comedy club.....

I had my bachelorette party at Boogie Fever and it was a blast. We had dinner and drinks beforehand across the street at Sankana Sushi Lounge, which is pretty cool for a sushi place. They usually have a DJ set up.

I just had my bachelorette party two weeks ago. We went to Sangria for dinner and dessert. My friends and I just love that place and got plenty of different tapas to sample and share :)

After dinner we just went right upstairs to Sky Bar and stayed there the entire night. The music they played was great and we danced the night away all night long. I highly recommend it; we had the best time!

Enjoy your party! It's so exciting.

Great ideas, ladies! I was thinking of Sangria, because I haven't actually eaten there, but went to the upstairs part yeaaarrs ago. I can't believe I forgot about Memphis Smoke, we used to go there about every weekend to the roof!

Boogie Fever for sure. SO much fun! I went there for my 21st and 22nd birthdays. The crowd is diverse and mostly everyone just looking to have fun. Not your typical "clubbing" atmosphere which is probably why it makes it so great.
