Hey girls. What did you do for table names/numbers? 'We will be naming each table after a national or state park we have been to together and include a picture of us at that park. But I'm not quite sure how to display them. I just know I don't want to use frames.
Any suggestions?

Thanks! We really like it too. I just have to make sure it doesn't end up being cheesy! hehe
I found a picture on the internet of the spot my hubby proposed to me (it was on a bike trail in massachusetts and the pic was of the EXACT bench!) I printed it on on 5 x 7 cardstock with "Table #" on it in a fun font. We then displayed them on little easels that the venue provided (but i did buy 2 easels for the bathroom basket frames and got them VERY cheap at Christmas tree shop...and that is something they carry all the time).
I have also seen people use those photo holders...this is not one i would use but gives you the idea: http://www.partycheap.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=50484-S&click=159138
Kristin, I never thought to use plate stands, that would work well, but FI wants something higher (what does he know? hehe)
Steph, We're been looking at similar photo holders on etsy. There are ones that have river rocks as a base, which I thought were simple yet cute. Normally I wouldn't go for one with a rock on the bottom, but I think it would work well with our theme... parks.
These are also cute: http://www.etsy.com/listing/60696739/12-table-card-number-holders-silver-wire
We bought baseball cards of each player and had them mounted on plaqes with their name.
The escort cards said something like
#7 Mickey Mantle
Everyone loved them but we had to make an announcement that people could not take the plaques home. If you click on 'my bio' and go into the old bio link, there are pictures

Very cute and clever! Thanks for sharing!
We went to a friend's wedding last year that had pictures at each of the tables. What she did was get a larger frame - I'd say maybe 16 X20 and put photos in it. But she left part of it blank - off to the side, or down the center if you're using multiple pics.
She laid the frame on the table FLAT - with the photos facing up towards the ceiling. Then she nicely had tulle puffed and in the blank area she put candles. I think there might have been sprinkled rose petals too?
I thought it was a nice personal touch. I'd never seen anything like it. Plus b/c the photos were facing up - instead of a propped frame - everybody at the table could see the pictures.
