Always a Bridesmaid...

Never a bride.  My friend's mom sent me these photos tonight.  We played dress up a lot and I never got to be the bride.  Ever.  I was always the bridesmaid and occasional groom.


Any funny wedding photos from when you were a kid?

    That's so cute!! I was always the bride. I used to walk around my parents house in my moms dress (white velvet with flowers from the 60s!). She would pin up the hem and put clips on the back so it fit me. I've got a pic somewhere. I'll have to find it and PIP.

    No pictures but I have "married" several of my boy neighbors when I was little wearing my sisters 1st communion outfit.

    Aww that's cute!

    I was a bride for Halloween when I was two, but my mom has all of those pictures.  Too bad there weren't digital cameras back in the day, it would make sharing older pictures so much easier!

    I was a bride for Halloween when I was 7.  I think my mom went a little overboard on the blush.  Also, the shoes are what every bride dreams of...

    haha!  That is too funny liz!  jhobel- I love the outfit!

    We used to have a wedding dress my aunt made in our 'dress-up' bin.  Whenever we wore it my mom would always remind us (even at the age of 5) that we should have a college degree before we get married.

    OMG Julie that is awesome!  I guess she wanted you to be a blushing bride?!

    Thanks for all the comments ladies.  I was dying of laughter when I saw the photos she sent (there were more but these were the only wedding photos.)
