Paging DIYers - stamps

I'm a DIY novice, but I've decided to try make my own thank you cards with the thought that I'll eventually incorporate the same theme/idea into the escort cards, menus, programs, etc.

Are there any stores in the area that carry a good selection of stamps? Specifically, I'm looking for a "thank you" stamp. The Michaels near me (Bham) had one, but it was a sans-serif font and I'd like something a little fancier.

Thanks for your help :)

You can also make your own at:

They're super fast.  I used them to create my Save the Date stamp which is posted below:

Write Impressions?  That's the only one I can think of.

I don't recall the name either but it was on 4th just east of Washington right next to the train tracks, right? it was a cute shop but not sure if they are still there or not- lots of downtown royal oak shops have closed.

Write Impressions is also a great place too!

i'd say look at scrapbook stores they should have something.

Thanks for all the advice! I'll check on etsy (it's new to me so I get a little overwhelmed with everything you can get!!) and take a drive down washington :)
