we are getting pretty far in our planning, but I just can't figure out a dj. Any of you have any recommendations for a dj?

Check the stickies at the top for vendor reviews.  I love my DJ.  Paul from Sunshine Entertainment.  http://www.sunshinedj.com/about.htm A lot of Knotties have used him and loved him.

I highly recommend Dan Detloff from Elite Entertainment. He did our wedding and he is the best and so professional!!

DJ Mark Hudy.  He is very professional, reasonably priced, has DJeda couple hundred weddings, and is VERY organized.  I have the utmost faith in him.

Ditto this. We had him at our wedding last year, and 3 couples that attended our wedding booked Paul for their wedding. One of the three weddings last weekend and we were invited and Paul was the DJ. He did an awesome job as usual.
