Photographer and Videographer HELP!

Hello Knotties,

I need some help finding a photographer and videographer that is in reasonable price. Im not talking 3,000! Something in between 1200-2000. They can be from seperate places. If you hired someone in my price range or know someone reasonable please let me know! Or if your a photographer yourself estabolished or just starting out, email me at bride2bee2013@yahoo.com.

We loved The Camera Chick and she comes highly recomended on this board!  THey don't do a full on wedding video but they do 3 to 4 minute music video recaps of your wedding day and we liked that more than our actual video!

Fairytale has photographers too, so you may get a good deal by getting photo and video with them. I'm not sure if you're talking $1200-2000 total or separately, though.

What sort of packages are you looking for in that price range?
-Full day coverage? With or Without time limit?
-One or two shooters?
- Lots of photo products after the fact?

Video
-time frame?
-Extent of editing?

Some of these factors make a huge difference in price no matter what budget you use?

I am a huge photography fanatic but my H and I paid for our entire wedding ourselves and he wouldn't let me splurge on photography. So that being said certain factors were more important: 2 shooters, entire day covereage, and getting a photo disc with all edited photos. We still paid $2500 (prob be more like $3000-$3500 but our wedding was off season). We didn't get a lot of the extra add ons but the photo quality was the most important part to me.

<div>Totally agree, you will need to specify what you want in a photographer. We're paying $2400 for ours, but a lot is included, like the engagement shoot and full rights to pictures. Our videographer came recommended by our photographer, which I feel very comfortable with as I am hopeful an established relationship will keep them out of each others' ways! Our videographer is $1250 for a full day of shooting, a highlight reel, and all the raw footage (I plan on doing the editing myself).</div><div>

She obviously is just getting started in the business, but I have utmost confidence in her ability. I do photography myself though, so I'm capable of editing photos the way I want them to be edited - I literally was looking for a good price and someone who understood composition and that was it.

I got a ton for $1850 from my photographers.

I get 2 photographers up to 9 hours, an 11x14 album, all photos on a disk with printing rights, engagement session, slideshow set to music and enlargements for $1850.
They have packages for less than that.
