I was really bored today so I looked up how popular my last name is in the US and then my FI's.  If you are curious too here is a site:

His/my new last name is #3, which I already knew it was super popular. I don't worry about not telling people his last name for privacy reasons since there are 1.5 million people that have it.

My current last name comes in much later, in the 200s. But I hate my last name, definitely don't mind switching over to his super-popular one.

I don't mind having a common name ... it beats having a teacher mispronounce it all the time or something. (Plus, with a common name.. it's harder to find me on facebook, haha!)

I'm really sad to change my last name.  It's unique and it's christmas-related so I always had alot of fun comments when I used my credit card during the holidays.
