Wedding TY Question

Some of the guests that attended our wedding have not (yet) given us a gift. Not a big deal, I still plan to send them a "thank you for attending our wedding" card, but do you think I should wait a little longer in case they just forgot to bring a card to the wedding, or maybe they ordered something off the registry but it has been slow to ship? (there are things listed as "purchased" that we have yet to receive) Or should I just go ahead and send a "thank you for attending" and then follow it up with a thank you for any specific gift that might arrive later?

Thanks ladies!

I would send them a thank you card and IF you get a gift later then send another card at that time. They may not be planning on sending a gift and its easy to forget to send the card later. Plus, if some people got thank you cards, but others didn't that might come off a bit confusing and hurt people's feelings, kwim?

Yeah, that makes sense Booger. That's what I figured I would do. I just wan't sure if I should give it a couple more weeks before sending them.

I would put them on the bottom of your list to write the TYs (As I'm really not thinking it's possible to get them all done in one sitting :-P)
Sure it only buys you a few days, but ya never what may role in.
I am still sending a TY to those who didn't get a gift, & like Erin said, if we get something later, I'll happily send another :):)
