Shoe help!

I need to find my wedding shoes ASAP before my first dress fitting.  Where did everyone purchase their wedding shoes from?  I'm looking for a place I can try them on as opposed to ordering online. TIA

    Well I can't help...I got mine from shoes.com.

Did you show with both shows.com and zappos.com, you can order them for free shipping and free returns?  I ordered about 6 different pairs and ended up shipping 5 of them back and didn't pay any shipping costs.  Also, they have great variety -- and you can use the coupon code "VISA" at shoes.com to save 20%.

I got my shoes from the Village Shoe Inn in Farmington.  They have two other locations too.  One is in Rochester and the other is in Eastpointe.  Personally I thought they had a much better selection than DSW but I also wanted pink shoes (and found the perfect pair).  It's just rooms and rooms of shoes and they are very well organized and the ladies who work there are super helpful.

I have these same shoes, except in black.  They are pretty high heels, but SO comfortable.  And they made it so I didn't need a hem.  Awesome.

I was also going to recommend zappos. As long as you don't mind your available credit being tied up for a few weeks, order a few pairs and send them back if they're not what you want. I have done this numerous times.

I know, I was amazed at how comfortable they were. I'm used to high heels since I wear them to work everyday, but these feel comfortable right out of the box. I've been wearing them around the apartment to make sure they're broken in a little bit though before the wedding.

I got my shoes from 6pm.com but i would suggest DSW or MACYS or JCPENNYS if you are looking for a variety. DSW would probably be your best bet..They have tons of shoes..i use to work at the one in novi..plus they have a great clearance section as well that you might be able to find a deal on some shoes..
