What's everyone up to this week?

Ok, I started this because its my wedding week.

FI comes to town tonight, and we have the whole week for wedding things.  But I really don't think we need it.  We really just need to make our OOT bags (supplies are already bought) and print the programs.  Other than that, I have lunch with a friend Wednesday, people get into town starting Thursday, a mani/pedi on Friday, then the rehearsal!

What isn't on my to- do list this week sounds like a better question!

WR:  Hopefully figuring out hair/make-up and limo stuff, finally.  Menu tasting on Thursday.  Printing invites. Drinks with our photographer on Thursday to go over details.  Shopping for special occassion dresses.  Picking up some things for wedding party gifts.  Discuss our ceremony readings and music.  More things I am not even thinking of because my to do list and planner are at home, I feel lost today.

NWR:  Booking a hair appointment hopefully for this week sometime. Starting a contract at a different tanning salon, hated my last one.  Changing insurance companies, also hated the last one.  Helping FI sell one vehicle and change over title, plates, etc... on his new vehicle. 

I have a feeling my life will never slow down...

Returning/exchanging some WP shoes, buying a mirror for our new home today after work (which doesn't sound as exciting as it really is!), aaaaaand it's the last week of summer camp! YAY! I am not sad about this at all [:

Yay Meg!! I'm so excited for you WR: finalize the programs and start making the menus. Then fly to Chicago for FSILs bachelorette party NWR: finish moving out of my apartment. I've lived there since I was 20 and it's weird to have my entire life fit into 7 boxes. The whole moving process has put me in a very reflective mood.

Tonight we are having pictures taken. We already had our Engagement pictures taken but a photographer friend is taking a few more in our Ohio State/ Michigan gear. I am a huge Michigan fan and Fi I went to Ohio State so the rival is a huge part of our lives.

Trying to make an appointment with the priest who I am having a hard time getting back to me. We have already talked about him marrying us but i just want to get everything set in stone.

Not to much else wedding related.

I have a day off on Wednesday, so we will be looking at 4 or 5 more reception venues and hopefully finding something we like. Looked at 4 last week and was both overwhelmed (by all the choices and information) and underwhelmed (by the venues themselves, sigh).
Crossing my fingers this week goes better and I can find a place I can get excited about!

Not much for me this week that's WR. We had our e-pics last night after worrying all day that it would be cancelled due to rain. It was gorgeous and I'm so anxious to see them!

NWR, we are going to Chicago this weekend. Once I get back from that, I definitely intend to get back into wedding things.

WR:  I started designing our invites last night so hopefully I'll finish that up.

NWR:  More medical testing (here's the vent)... currently I've been diagnosed for 1 of 3 things going on.  This sucks.  I'm tired of being poked, proded, and not fully listened to.  This was clearly evident by my trip to the ER last night.  Turns out I haven't been feeling too well because I now have an inflamed liver likely from the meds my doctor had me on for my back pain.  I have a feeling I'm going to yell at my doctor tomorrow... ugh.  Beyond that just working.

Yay Meg!!! So exciting

I have tons of cleaning to do around the house, and I need to get to the grocery store today.  Also, a good friend of mine is heading back to Afghanistan on Thursday so I'm guessing there will be some sort of goodbye party this week as well.

I'm sorry Megan about all the medical tests.  That sucks about the ER trip, I know not everything is ok but are things better than before you went to the ER?  I hope everything settles down soon so you can stop being poked and feeling crappy.



We finally take possession of our house on Friday and we could not be more excited.  DH was talking nonstop about it yesterday and I pointed out that he wasn't nearly this excited for our wedding as he is for the house.  He then explained that, "Well the house is a new step for us.  This is a sign that we are grownups and this is a new chapter in our lives."  Um hello, could that not describe OUR WEDDING DAY?!  He didn't seem to think so.  Boys are silly.

Before the ER trip things were kinda at a standstill.  No one was really sure what to really do beyond just let it go, have me be careful, and wait to see if things get worse to then do something.

I agree, boys are silly.
