NWR - Eye Problems

A few weeks ago I got lenses for my glasses so I wore them, giving my eyes a rest from the extended wear contacts I have.

I put them in yesterday (I had to go to visitation at a funeral home) and was having a a bit of a irratation of the right eye.  Today it got worse so when I finally got home from the funeral  I took them out.

Well that was over FOUR hours ago and the eye is still bothering me.  I hope I haven't scratched the cornea or have an eye ulcer.  I really doubt the latter, as I had one over 20 years ago and it was because the contacts had not been cleaned as often as necessary.

If it isn't better by morning, I may have to go and see the eye doctor as it is driving me crazy!

Honestly it could be allergies. This time of the year me and my sisters always have big eye issues, even if we only wear contacts for a few hours.

Nope, not allergies.  Never had a problem. 

My eye is a bit sore this morning but much better.  I will put fresh contacts in next week.

I was going to say either allergies or maybe just the protein levels are off. 

When I wore contacts I'd know if I had a protein level off because they would burn until I cleaned them, put new solution in the holder, and rinsed my eye with saline.

Going to see the eye doctor tomorrow.  Despite leaving my contacts out for two days, and putting fresh ones in, they problem has come up again.  UGH!
