unique Detroit wedding venue

I wanted a roof top wedding or possibly a loft wedding but I can't find info on either...any ideas or good venue ideas. I don't want traditional church wedding

  • Welcome to the Detroit board. Everyone here is really helpful and we look forward to hearing about your plans.

I think your question regarding a loft or roof top wedding venue has been asked at least 100 times while I've been on the Knot the past 3 years. I'm not exaggerating, truly it's what a lot of brides want. There really are not that many, if any, however the link below was compiled by a former bride who did a tremendous amount of research to find her ideal place. There are a couple of loft-type venues, but from what I recall the costs are prohibitive.

Don't give up looking, as there may be a new venue some day that opens and a really insistent bride might just find it.

    Good luck.

  • The Marriott in the RenCen is an option. I contacted them for my reception but the price was a like high but for the ceremony I believe it was $1,000 for the outdoor patio, they also have a skyroom. My contact was Jennifer.Vaquera@marriott.com
