Now only to find a reception venue! Help!

We finally found a ceremony location at a church in Wyandotte.

Anyone know of any cheaper venues for a reception in the Downriver area for about 125-150 people for about 5,000 total!

I am not super familiar with downriver venues, but the ones I think may be in that price range are Arnaldos in Riverview and Crystal Gardens in Southgate

Grecian Center in Southgate would be under that budget probably, there's also Stone Creek in Flat Rock and Silver Shores in Wyandotte, Orlando in Riverview and Lakes of Taylor.

Silver Shores in Wyandotte was pretty nice. Right on the water and could easily hold that many people. Very nautical though. Literally anchors in the carpet on the floor. The Event coordinator was very very friendly when I went there with FI last year.
I wish I could remember exactly how much they wanted per person but once we booked our venue I threw the other places away LOL. I wanna say it was close to $50 pp? But that was a while ago.

The Grecian Center in Southgate is another one we looked at but we didn't actually talk with anyone there so no idea on pricing.

Flat Rock Community Center is very beautiful and the event manager there was a real sweetheart. I think they have a requirement on how many people you have to have though.

Silver Shores was out of my budget for what they offer.  Try Crystal Gardens.  They have a Supreme Package for around $6000 that includes the venue, (we are using Riverside Banquet Hall in Wyandotte) premium bar, D.J., cake, invitations, and a few extras.  This package will cover 3 locations.  Good luck!
