It was 22 years ago today that I went under the knife and had a tumor removed from my brain.
Since then, my world has been turned upside down. I lost my balance and cooridination on my right side and was deemed disabled. I was told I'd be back to work in 2-3 months - other than a five month stint for college work study, I have not worked since.
I had problems with my vision and was unable to drive for eight years.
I gave up on ever having kids or getting married....until January 22, 2011 - that's when Dan came back into my life!
