Hi - does anyone here have any experience with the food (at a wedding or event) at the Omni downtown?!!!

    Don't book your wedding there. Last I heard is they are bankrupt and trying to sell. They may have to close their doors in October.

    Our hotel block was there for our wedding... there was a wedding going on there at the time & I just remember the next morning the bride complaining that there were a lot of uninvited guests that crashed her wedding - the reception is held in a tent outside of the hotel.

    We toured the Roostertail last week as a potential venue and heard there that the Omni is referring people to the Roostertail.

    One of the brides on this board was getting married in October...... they notified her that they are closing 2 weeks before her wedding! They really shouldn't have their wedding packages online any longer.

    If you need somewhere else, just ask.

    we're already booked there - at the omni.  i'm not asking for input because we're "considering" them.  but because we're already booked and have a contract.

    I would suggest contacting them then to make sure your wedding is still there.  Teshia's wedding is in October as well and they will be closed by then.

    We're booked there, and yes, we've been in contact about their potential closing.  We're up-to-speed on all that and have been in close contact with them.

    Does anyone have any experience with the food there (food served at a wedding or other event)?
