When you have your period is that deal breaker when it comes to sex? How does fi feel about it?

Yes, total deal breaker. We typically refer to it as "shut down". FI is on the same page.

It is a deal breaker. FI is completely on the same page. He does refer to it as BJ week though lol.

Not a total deal breaker. When I was in school and FI and I were long distance, he didn't care if it was that time of the month because we didn't get to see eachother every day.

I think it's gross, but if FI doesn't care then I'm kinda "whatever" about it.

Irrelevant now though, thanks to the wonders of an IUD

It's definitely a deal breaker for us. I don't think I would mind if DH wanted to...but he hasn't...so that's ok with me lol.

Deal breaker. I have endometriosis so I'm normally in a LOT of pain during my period.

I don't think my FI would be so bothered by it, if it were light. But, since I had an IUD when I met him, we've never had to worry about having sex on a period, since I don't have periods. Thank you God lol.

I have no clue since I haven't really had a period since FI and I first met a year and a half ago.  First it was explained by the type of birth control I was on (Loestrin).  No period was normal for some women on this type of pill.  Then I got off the pill in October but still had no period.

"Lucky" for me my OB decided I need to have one and just put me on synthetic progesterone pills that should cause a period.  Side affects basically mimic REALLY bad PMS including mood swings.  Ugh!  I've only been on them one day so far and haven't noticed anything....yet.....

FI actually doesn't care. I do. My first and second day are really the only heavy days so those are usually no-go days unless we're in the shower. I don't care after the first 2 days.

I wait it out the first two days but then it's not an issue for us.

I personally think it's gross to do when I'm bleeding.  If I'm just spotting though my FI is still up for it.

<div>My PERSONAL experience is that, yes. I had spotting for the first 3 months and I've had NOTHING since then (I've had the IUD for 2 years). The insertion itself was fairly painful. Apparently all the blood drained from my face and I had horrific cramping for the first 2 days, but once everything calmed down I haven't had any issues and I love it!</div><div>
