Greektown

A group of friends and I are taking my friend to greektown for her bachelorette party. None of us are really familiar with it. She knows she wants to eat at Pizza Papalis. Also one of the girls is only 18. We only plan to spend 23 hours down there before heading back to a house. Any ideas? Can someone help me out?

Pizza Papalis is a yummy place, but unfortunately with having someone who is only 18 you are not going to all be able to enter the casino or possibly some other bars with them. The Old Shillelagh is down the street and this is usually a live band playing on Friday and Sat nights and the 18 year old may be able to get in there. I went to a bachlorette party down there a few months ago. We had a room at the Hilton Garden Inn where we enjoyed some adult entertainment and then went to the casino.

Also, Pizza Papalis takes FOREVER to get your food. I was actually just at a bachelorette party a few weeks ago and we started off there. It took a good 45 minutes to an hour for our pizzas to come out. Unfortunately, I really cannot think of any other places that are 18 and up. I think your best bet is to just call around and see what their policies are. Sorry I'm not more help!! =(

There really arn't many bars you can get into on a Friday or Saturday night with someone who is only 18. 

I would say maybe plan some actives in the hotel room and hang out there for awhile.

I agree with what the others said. Maybe a tigers game?? Its not far from that area. You could walk down by the river walk too.
