My invites went out yesterday! WOOHOO, finally!!!

I got the seating chart done, I picked up my bridesmaid gifts, AND I FINALLY found out that my rings will be done next Wednesday evening!!!  I'm super geeked to get my rings back (it's been since December).

AW!!!! I am at 30 days!!!! I am like, OMG!!! I can't believe it! After a 1.5 year engagement, it's finally creeping up on me! My stress levels are high b/c of family/rsvp drama, but to hell with them. I'm trying to not let it bother me. I know that my day will be great! P.S. still no cake vendor!! hee hee! I don't care! It will work itself out!

Brandi: Hopefully the cake will work itself out. Have you tried a local supermarket? Holiday Market in Canton/Royal Oak does AMAZING jobs for a reasonable price or Lakes Cakes in Walled Lake/Commerce.

Jody:  I have to say the absolute favorite part of the wedding planning was getting RSVPs in the mail.  My FI and I used to try and race home to get to the mailbox first.  He usually won tho, lol. 

Brandi:  I know what you mean!!!!  FI and I have been engaged for over 3 years now!  It's so surreal that I'm 3 weeks from the wedding!  I love my cake vendor, Elite Sweets in Livonia, you could check them out!

WR: Our save-the-dates went out, we registered on Sunday, my fitting is on Friday night (remember my weird sample-sale-dress-so-you-have-to-be-fitted-before-summer-deal?) and we are picking up our rings on Monday night.

NWR: We leave for Vegas on Wednesday. My first three night vacation in six years! FI surprised me with the trip for my b-day back in December...I cried because I thought I was getting an engagement ring. LOL. Turns out the ring came in a day late, so I got my Christmas present for my b-day (Vegas) and my b-day present for Christmas (my ring).

I hit single digits today!!! AHHHHHHHHH!

Did our final count and walk-thru yesterday at the venue, picked up my dress Monday, meet with our ceremony officiant tonight, and on and on!!!!

My dress is in, and I go to try it on this Tuesday. I'll post pictures! but it will totally need alterations since they don't make a dress size for 32-27-38 girls hahaha.

Monday is our engagement shoot and I need to buy an outfit LOL

WR AW: Finished my funky-fun necklace for the reception. I really have to get on my daughter to take some pics cuz I don't have a digital camera and want to get my bio stuff together.

I've been waiting for this post all week!!! We bought my wedding dress on Saturday! I'm so excited! The style is something I never though I would have gotten..like I would have thought is pretty, but not thought of buying it. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it though! It's soooo romantic and classy..I can't wait to wear it!

I can't believe how close everyone is getting to their dates too - it's so exciting!

Well, I had a lot of cake drama. the one lady who's cakes were AMAZING! and PERFECT for me, had a fire. So she is unavailable.
I have a baker that I do like, and they are my back up plan. I have had about 4 or 5 cake tastings.
 I am still looking to get the WOW! I am a foodie, so this is so very important.:)

WR:  My invitations are designed and I am really happy with them.

NWR: I became a Great Aunt this week and I get to meet her in just 2 short weeks! Also- FI and I got approved for a beautiful apartment in our favorite Seattle neighborhood. SO LONG suburbs and Sh*tty neighbors!

Our shower invites went out earlier this week. Everyone has been calling about how cute they are!

It seems like this week there was alot to AW about! Congrats to all the ladies getting stuff done and hitting double digits, hitting 30 days, and even the ladies getting married this weekend! Yay for AW!

I bought my BM jewelry yesterday, totally impromptu, so I can check that off the list... they better like it!

RSVPs are coming in fast and furious and I'm hearing lots of compliments on my DIY invites, makes it all worth it.

I got the cake serving set I wanted yesterday via ebay.

My veil is set to ship May 6!
