I JUST found my dress this weekend and am so excited!

Have you gone dress shopping yet? Yes I have!

How long ago?  Last Friday

How was your experience? Have an interesting story to tell? 

When we started planning I joined weightwatchers and told myself I was going to go dress shopping after I had lost 30lbs.  I hit my goal right after Christmas and while visiting my parents we went dress shopping!  I had originally picked out a dress that I loved but the only one I could find was in a different city and not my size.  We drove up and had about 30 minutes to try on the dress before having to go back to the city for another appointment.  I tried it on and absolutely loved the top but there was something off about the bottom.  We drove back to the city and went to a Davids Bridal.  The consultant was helpful but I think I tried on every single dress in the store.  After 2 hours(!!!) I decided to go look for myself and found one I thought would be nice.  I tried it on and it was definitely the one for me!

My mom and sister.

 Did you find your dress?

Sure did!

 How many did you have to try on before you found the one? 

All of them!  HA!  I think it was somewhere around 30 but I wasn't keeping track.

I think I went in July-ish?  I know it was super hot out when I went.

How was your experience? Have an interesting story to tell? 

It was great!  I tend to be very indecisive, but I searched online for a couple months before I went and selected the bridal shop based on my favorite gown.  It was probably the easiest shopping experience of my life, we had a very nice room all to ourselves and it was so nice and clean (that always makes a difference to me when I shop) and everyone was great.  The lady was fairly quiet which I liked because I’m reserved so there wasn’t any awkward chit-chit.  She also picked out a perfect veil… its sheer so I can still see the back detail.

My mom, and my sister (MOH)

 Did you find your dress?

Yes!  My favorite dress that I brought pictures of was perfect, better than in the pictures!

 How many did you have to try on before you found the one? 

It was the first I tried on but I tried on about 3 more to compare.

My mom has them but its Alfred Angelo 2165.  I picked it because I wanted a low back.
