Newly engaged... location???

Just beginning the search for a venue... we are pretty open to different styles, but I am interested in finding a rustic barn venue in the metro detroit area- closer to the Clarkston area. I have heard of one near Howell, MI, but can't find any information on it. 

Any suggestions???

I've looked at the Blue Dress Barn on the west side of the state and LOVE it, but it is too far...

    Cobblestone Farms in Ann Arbor! Best barn venue in the area (in my opinion). It's not in Clarkston, but you should totally check it out!

    Cobblestone Farms is a great idea, but they don't allow liquor.  If that isn't an issue for you, then I'd say its a great idea.  We looked into it, but my fiance's family are big social drinkers, so we can't have that.

    There's one in Novi called Tollgate Center that is run by MSU.  My problem with that one is that they only seat 120 indoors, so my wedding is too large.

    There's the Octagon House in Washington Twp, Idk how far from Clarkston you're willing to go.  I think that's closer than Ann Arbor or Novi, though.
