DJ?

Hello everyone! Hope your weekend was a good one! I was wondering if anyone has used or knows anything about DJ Crashers. We are interested in using them but would like to hear from you first They are out of Lake Orion. Thanks!

I looked into them but I wasn't too impressed.  My FI and I just didn't click with the DJ and we felt the price was a bit much for their abilities.

I looked into DJ Crashers! I really liked Saxon and loved the video screen. A few weeks ago I went to a wedding to check him out in action and I was  bit dissapointed. It just felt like there was something missing.

The music was really low to the point I could stand next to a speaker and carry on a full coversation. Only a few people were on the dance floor (but that may have been largely due to the fact he played a whole rotation of cheesy music at the bride/groom's request).

It just felt like a middle school dance to me, not the club/party atmosphere I imagine at my wedding. I eventually just left and he never followed up with me after that. So I've been having serious second thoughts.

I just want to note I think it's very unprofessional for DJs to tell you to come to another wedding they are working to check out their style. I certainly wouldn't want them inviting someone random to my wedding! Just my $0.02! :)

In Saxon's defense, he did get the bride and groom's permission before inviting me and frankly I don't even think they noticed we were there. They were too busy enjoying their wedding I think.

Hi, thought I would introduce myself - I am Jeff, owner of DJ Jeffy B Custom Music - I have over 10 years of DJ experience and would be happy to cut you a deal when you book your wedding. Check out my site- www.djjeffyb.com - everything is custom (no extra charge) which guarantees that you'll hear exactly what you want at your wedding. Letting a DJ come and play the music he thinks your guests wanna hear is never your best option. You should always have full control over all the details. If I can be of any help to you, don't hesitate to contact me... even if you end up picking another DJ. Congratulations on your engagement. :)
