Tell Us Tuesday

What is something that you always say that you're going to do and never get around to it?

I always have the intentions of cleaning my car trunk out and never seem to have the time or motivation to do it.

Decorating our bedroom. Before he moved in - it was the champagne room - now it looks more like a storage room. I gotta get sexy back.

Finish organizing my apartment. I moved in 7 months ago, and I kind of got things to the point they were livable and looked nice, then stopped. I had more important things to do at the time and I said I'd just finish it up later. The problem is, I still haven't gone back and finished the job. I have a whole stack of unpacked boxes in the office closet (I don't even remember what's in them!) and a few things are still in my mom's garage. Ooops!

Painting the G-D kitchen. Ugh. We have peeling paint and spots where FI touched up the drywall...but I've learned to not notice them anymore.

Am I limited to just one?

All my DIY. I have made a vow to myself to work on one project a day. I'm only 31 days away and I know it is going to fly by!

Definately working out. There are not enough hours in the day!

Start jogging. I really want to because I already have to walk the dog and exersize so I might as well combine the two and save some time. It probably doesn't helped that I need to have my knee looked at but I could still manage.

Umm, I have a few lol! Basically organize my paperwork, go to the gym regularly (and let me tell you the wedding, moving and honeymoon have all been great excuses why I'm too busy!), and other things, like work on my writing.

This! Besides moving- although it looks like I'm moving with all the wedding gifts and stuff everywhere.

I'm finally going to start working on getting licensed in my field again (I tried a few years ago and got so mad after I failed the test twice I quit!). And I definitely need to work on my housekeeping skills, but I told my husband that once we get everything cleaned up & organized, we are using some of our wedding $ for a maid. Or if that isn't PC anymore, a house cleaner. :)

Organizing my (very limited) closet space! As of now they just keep getting more junk shoved in them. I know I would have so much more room if I would just clean them up a bit!

Painting our doors! FI installed them but we need to paint them because right now they swell up in the humidity. I planned to paint them this weekend, but well, can't now because of the humidity. Actually, this is FI's task that gets pushed off.
Mine is going through mail and shredding stuff. We just put everything into a shoebox (junk mail that is, not stuff we need) until it gets full and it's time to shred. Yuck.

Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. I HATE housework! Thankfully Kevin doesn't complain, and he's the neat freak between us, being former military. He's taken it upon himself to clean out my fridge when he's been here and I haven't. I won't allow him to clean while I'm here, so he waits for me to leave, LOL.

The cleaning thing goes hand in hand with the garage sale I'm supposed to have sometime this summer. I'm sure I'll get to it before the end of August, but between now and then, with trips & stuff, not to mention working, I don't know when it will be.

    Oh wow..

Get into a fitness routine. I've been going to the gym every other day pretty much since I joined a week and a half ago. I just want to keep it up. I ALSO want to stop eating junk which is hindering my weightloss!

Cleaning is definitely one but my argument is still that if IM the one working 40 hours and FI is only part time, HE should be doing most of the cleaning lol

Also, deciding what track I'm going to start taking towards a new career (or one in general). This is HEAVY stuff man! lol

Managing my time better. I always seem to run out of time yet I never seem to get anything done.
