What did everyone do over the weekend?

Saturday was J's cousins wedding. The best thing about this day was the groom came up to John and I and said, "you guys inspired me to do this." He was talking about getting married and a long relationship. It really made my day. And we stayed in the hotel last night.

Sunday- We went to Bob's and paid for the furniture; it's being delivered on
Oct 23rd. Walked around the Poughkeepsie Galleria for a lil while and came home. J has a big test tomorrow so he was studying.

Friday was one year until our wedding so Adam and I went out to eat at a great mexican place, then went home, watched the phillies win, and then watched a movie.

Saturday my cousin who lives in Minneapolis was in Philly because he is thinking about moving here!  I showed him around a bit in the morning/early afternoon.  Then I came home and got a bunch of homework done.  Then a friend wanted to just hang out and have a couple drinks, and I wanted to bake, so she hung out in the kitchen with me while I baked and we had a couple drinks and chatted.

Today was more baking and cooking, and more homework, then watched another phillies win.

Tomorrow I have off from work for Columbus day   Looks like it will be pretty much a repeat of today.  I have a big project due and a test this week, so homework homework homework.

Oh yeah, and WR I got a quote from a florist so I spent some time looking at flower pics and such. 

Also I think I've finally decided on my bridal party (I knew the 3 ladies I wanted to ask almost right away, but I was having trouble deciding which one should be the MOH) so I might call all 3 of them tomorrow to officially ask them to be in my bridal party.

Fri was a hubby & me night

sat i had to wowrk,then i spent the night with Hubby again

yday i did some more xmas shopping and some shopping for the house,and i bought my cat  a dress & a bikini for her bday

Fri - Hung out with my brother and his girlfriend since they were in from CO while I did laundry 

Sat - My sisters "Wedding" She had a party to celebrate her marriage. They got married last Nov on the beach in Florida without telling anyone.

Sun - Recovered. Spent the day with my brother and family. Then spent the night with 13 pre-teens for a sleepover at a friends house for her daughters 12th bday! Got home at 1am and made apple crisp for family cake nite!

Midge- wow!!!

Friday- hung out with DH and my brothers and their GF's

Saturday- got my hair dyed and cut. Made dinner and my one brother came over, we ran some errands while DH worked and then I stayed in and did laundry

Sunday- hung out with one of the brother's GF all day, we did some shopping and then our stupid selves decided to go to the Woodbury Commons, BAD IDEA.  There was some kind of accident on the Thruway and they directed traffic into the COmmons and we got trapped there and couldn't get out, so we went to Applebee's for dinner.  We are locals so we should have known better, but it was still fun haha

Saturday - I blew writing for school and went shopping.  Then we went out to watch the Yankee game at our favorite local bar.

Sunday - We had dinner for my mom's birthday. It was a little sad that this was the first thing we were really celebrating without my dad, but everyone seemed to be in good spirits.

Saturday...stepson's baseball game, hung out and watched another friend's son play...had all of them back to the house for the kids to play and appetizer dinner! 

Sunday...went to Six Flags New England with the same family, my stepson AND the baby...she was a DREAM!

Monday/Today...nothing!  so tired from the day before...just vegged all day.

Friday - went out for dinner and drinks for a friend's birthday

Saturday day - attended a beautiful wedding ceremony of a friend/ acquaintance. Was invited to the reception during the receiving line. Would have loved to go, but had dinner plans.

Saturday night - Dinner with friends at the cheesecake factory! And only had to wait 50 minutes! 

Sunday - DH and I went to my parents for a nice dinner and we finally gave them their parent album We also brought along our wedding album so they could see it. It was nice to reminisce!

Monday - I worked, DH had off. In the evening we went looking for living rooms sets and bought a couch. loveseat and chair at Stagedoor. It will be delivered in about 3 weeks. So we finally have a living room! Still need to find tables, though. But we finally bought something with our wedding gift money! (We have used it for our honeymoon and gave lots to our photographer, but this was the first actual item we bought.)
