Costco wedding dresses

Yes, you're reading correctly i am posting at 5:45am! i've been wide awake since 4am and cannot fall back asleep haha :(

Anyway- on the news they mentioned Costco will start selling bridal gowns! Apparently it's a trunk show and they will now have dressing rooms in the stores for the bridal gowns. Price will range from $700-$1300 and will be a designer label. Sizing 7( i believe) to a 24.

I tried to search for the article but could only find articles for other cities, but they mentioned it on the news this morning. reading the other city articles it sounds like it'll be only in select cities although our news didn't mention that.

*yawn* You're not the only one up, lol.  I have to work at 7, so I got up at 5:40.

That sounds really cool!  It sounds like their prices are comparable to David's Bridal.

I wonder if they will offer tailoring.

There was a post on this on the A&A board. Not much more info but it looks like it will be piloted in California.

<div>I LOVE Costco's return policy! haha. If it's a trunk show though, I doubt they'll honor it.  I'm sure the dress would still have to be ordered through the designer.</div>

LOVE Costco! Picking up dinner there tonight!

I'm getting my flowers from there, getting 2 all white sheet cakes to cut in the back room of the reception venue, got my photobook made there with a coupon. Seriously, I LOVE them.

I think one of the things I like best about them is that they charge discount prices for a lot (not all) of their merchandise, AND they are an excellent employer, paying their associates $15-$20 per hr (unlike other discount retail chains that shall remain nameless)

It seems silly to me that Costco (which I associate with buying household items and food in bulk) will begin selling wedding gowns, but hey, if it's great designers at discounted costs then good for the brides who consider going there!

@Sue, I'm also looking into getting sheet cakes from them! We've ordered soooo many cakes from them and have always been satisfied. [:

Yes, the article did say it was in California.
Wish it would have been in Michigan, I love Costco.

Looked when I went this weekend, they don't have anything wedding related other than jewelry and flowers.
