Another Rant....More Advice Needed

Well...The same woman that wrote that on FI's facebook is at it again!
We sent the GM his invitation to his brother's house (the woman from above's husband). He is out on the road with a band, so he didn't respond right away, which is fine.

Today we got it back in the mail....And it said, "GM's Brother, GM, GM's Sister-in-Law, and Guest (Last Name)" The invitation was not addressed to them at all. After the whole mess from March, we decided not to invite them at all. So now what do I do?

Why did you send the invite to his brother's house?  It seems a little.....showy.  Almost like, well he's invited but you're not kind of thing.

But to answer your question, just simply call the GM (not the family) and nicely explain that unfortunately the invite was only for GM (and guest?) and that unfortunately due to space/budget constraints, you can't accomodate any additional guests.

He lives with the brother when he's in town and not on tour with the band.

Oh gotcha, that makes sense (I missed the part about the travelling band.)  But advice is still the same, just call GM to clarify and stick to your guns about the space/budget constraints.

Ditto pp. Call the GM and explain to him that the rest of the house was not invited.
