Is obviously a vendor, look at all the previous posts about how wonderfully fantastic VB is and how bad others are.
This makes VB look even worse than they already do as of late. This is really embarassing that you need to go to this level. Next time to try to make it less obvious...

I'm usually right there for calling out a vendor, but this time I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure lightningrod is just someone who loves her venue and couldn't possibly imagine that a single thing could be wrong with it. I could totally be wrong - which would suck, not because I'm wrong, but I hate when vendors do things like that. It really rubs me the wrong way.

I second that!!! Of 7 posts 4 are aggressively bashing Marina Del Rey (while majorly pushing for VB), and 2 are gallantly defending VB (while saying maybe Jamie's friends stole things?!?) Had the last posts been "VB had an off night" it may be fine (like just a guy with a grudge), but "it's so good b/c I know they do this..." i don't think so... It's gotta be a vendor.

I have never called out a vendor but this is awful. This so called knottie went to FIVE weddings at Marina Del Ray in less than 2 years? What are the chances of that? I have been to 5 weddings in a year, but to be all at the same place? Come on, and then posts about how awful they are?
And the way the talk about Villa Barrone is commercial like, not knottie like. I have no doubt this is a vendor. They never talk about anything else, it's embarassing and just makes them look so petty.

If in fact not a vendor... think how your posts read.... If in fact not a vendor... please share your planing with us... We'd love to hear your problems, questions and opinions past how great VB is and how much everything else sucks.

I know how you all feel about vendors on the boards so I have gone to higher help than my own judgement. I want to get to the bottom of it as well so I will keep you all updated

If you're not a vendor, you're sooo missing the point. Forget the venues. Flowers, DJs, photographers, Tuxes, Dresses... A wedding is more than just where you have your party. No one trusts you venue opinions anymore... move on and show us your real or stop.

Yeah, unfortunately it seems so. S(he) is deleting posts or so it seems in Jaimie's thread below and even in this one I guess to save face. Also her wedding date is on a Tuesday, which seems funny.
If it is just a normal knottie, why would they care and delete stuff? A vendor would more likely react this way when they got called out.
Too bad about this, makes VB look ridiculous! And before all this I had only heard great things.
