Do any of you know where I can find a day of coordinator? Not too expensive i'm hoping! We're doing everything at Crystal Gardens.

Welcome to the board.

There is a post at the top with a pushpin that has vendors, prices, and reviews. I think everyone who has already had their wedding was very pleased with their DOC, so use it mostly for costs comparison.

Have you talked to crystal gardens to see what they provide?  I too am having my wedding there and Kristen says I will have someone to help through all of that. There is a bridal show there this Sunday also. Maybe you could go and talk to them.

you know what i believe the woman i've been making my appointments with name was Kristen also! I'm just nervous that it's not going to be set up correctly! haha cause we are doing a lot of things ourselves so like centerpieces and everything will be our doings! and yes I do have plans to go to that bridal show! they said the chair covers should be on sale that day so i'm going to put my deposit down on them sunday!

I just met with Tammara from Grand Jour Events yesterday and she is VERY reasonably priced and does exactly what you're talking about. Might be worth meeting with her.

My wedding is saturday so my DOC still has work to do to complete my opinion but so far she has been great. She has kept my on target the last couple weeks, responds to emails asap, and the price was extremely reasonable. Her name is Shelly at Simplicitydoc.com, they even have a blog you can look at. I am not doing almost any DIY or decorations besides candles so if I had, they only thing I would change with her is asking her to meet somewhere that I could do a mock set up or something because that would make me nervous.

My friend Kirsten used The Party Stylist for her wedding in July. She said they were very affordable and awesome to work with.

Another vote for Tammara at Grand Jour Events.  She was my DOC for my wedding last October and she was amazing and more than reasonably priced.  Definitely look into her; you will not be disappointed! http://www.grandjourevents.com/
