I do not understand how 3 days after a storm, I-75 is still a sheet of ice in Oakland County.  Put some freakin' salt down already would ya!  I mean, Lord knows you charge enough in taxes in your county....you think the places with money could salt their roads.  This is getting beyond ridiculous.  25 mph on 75 for the 3rd day in a row.  Ugh!

crhein--That sucks!  As far as the salt thing, though... salt is almost completely ineffecitve in temperatures below 20 degrees.  And I don't think it's gotten above 20 since Sunday afternoon.  It will today, though!

I confess that this is the 3rd day of my vacation and I have not slept in one freakin day. I should have never told anyone I was gonna be off because my phone has been ringing off the hook! Geesh next time it will be my complete secret I wont even be telling FI

I confess that we have our company meeting from 3-6pm.  I really don't want to go.  I just want to leave, go to the gym, then go home and enjoy my evening.  But I kind of "have" to stay and mingle, which means by the time I hit the gym, I won't be home til like 9pm and my night will be a wash.

Bah humbug.

I confess that my house is SUCH a mess and I really really do not want to move off of the couch to clean it.  But I must.  Ugh.

Ugh - 75 is driving me nuts! I took it yesterday - 1 1/2 hours in the car and I was afraid for my life the entire time! I know it takes longer to drive, but I suggest taking Woodward if you have to go downtown (I work downtown). It was 30-40mph from Bham to the RenCen, but no ice :)

Oakland County needs to evaluate which is more important - building parks or salting the roads. I vote for the latter!

Skip Michigan winters.. San Antonio weather is much nice - I've been in Texas volunteering for 4 months and it does NOT feel like Christmas is 9 days away.. not when it's 65 degrees out! But, I'm at the airport.. headed home to the high-five state... and I'm actually really excited to see snow. (just not drive in it)
