WHat did you get for Valentines Day?

Nothing! FI and I didn't really celebrate and I was totally OK with that. In fact, it was my suggestion. But I did get a little envious when every single person I know started posting photos of the flowers their sweeties got them. This is the first year I really noticed that. Seriously. 95% of my FB friends had flowers delivered to them.

I got an iPad...TOTAL SURPRISE!  I'm still recovering from the shock that my fiance actually went and spent all that money (I'm a budget/money FREAK!), but I've used it every day since and totally love it!

We went to dinner and gave each other cards. We had discussed not doing gifts this year because of the wedding and we both are off to Vegas in less than a month.

However, I was also sad seeing everyone post pictures to facbook of there flowers and gifts.

My necklace to wear with my wedding dress! He apparently remembered me describing what I wanted to wear with it and was having a hard time finding exactly what I wanted. Surprise surprise-he bought me a beautiful Swarovski crystal necklace that matches my dress perfectly. (Yes he saw the dress but that was in August and I needed help figuring out which one to pick because I didn't want the most expensive. Yep-got the most expensive.) It is a choker style of heart laying sideways that you can't really tell are hearts unless you are within a few inches of the necklace. He told me that since I already have his heart, I can now wear it on our wedding day. Sappy-and he is usually not at all sappy. I have been super giddy all week (and helped ease the heartbreak a bit of finding out my mom has breast cancer).

He picked up flowers and a card after work, not super romantic, but I did appreciate the thought.

We went out to dinner, and I got flowers and a card. We had discussed not getting gifts for eachother because we would rather put the money towards the wedding, but of course he didnt listen and got me flowers anyways.

Dan sent me a floral arrangement and two cards, one that he made himself!

I really wasn't expecting anything as he had just sent me flowers two weeks before when I took a bad fall and bruised my tailbone!

I got an awesome "fiance" card which was great since this is the only Vday where that applies, chocolates and a red and white jeweled bead for my Pandora bracelet

We went out to dinner over the weekend, since I have class from first thing until late at night on Tuesdays.  Plus, he had to go on a business trip.  So I got up early that morning, made him heart-shaped bacon and cinnamon rolls, and we exchanged cards.

He gave me what he likes to call "The Big Three:" flowers (roses), chocolate (Godiva!) and jewelry (a silver heart pendant).  He gets really nervous about picking out gifts, so it was really cute.  I gave him a Patriots Jersey - he's been dying for one.

Nothing...though I told FI the week before that I wanted flowers but not for Valentine's Day. So I got some the day before

Kevin got me a card, a box of truffles and a paperback thriller, LOL. AND, he cleaned house on Sunday while I sat on the couch reading my paperback all day.

His gift was that I made him whatever he wanted for dinner.

Earrings! FI surprised me with diamond earrings that match my ring (this was before we moved the wedding up!). I was super surprised and I havn't taken them off yet :P
