Show me your programs!

Lets see them! I am totally lost as to what to put in the program!

Also, if anyone has day of itinerary (template or example) they are willing to share it would be appreciated!

I want to get an idea, too.  I'm sure we are making our own.  Other than the names of the bridal party and Church readings, I really have no idea what to include.

What kind of service are you having? We didn't have any readers or singers, so ours was short and to the point.

Do you NEED to have programs? Our ceremony will probably only be 15 mins tops so I'd rather not print out programs if we don't have to.  I have no problem making a larger version with the details and putting it someplace at the ceremony site so that people know the order of what's going on.  Come to think of it, I've not been to many weddings that actually had programs, hmm.

The only extra thing besides vows would be having someone bless the rings.

Just curious to see what others think.

I definitely don't need them, but we are having a Catholic ceremony and I don't want people to be lost/ confused. There are responses to readings and songs and I would like people to be able to join in.
We are not having a full Catholic mass, just a marriage ceremony. It is about 40 min.

@alicia - My programs are in the initial stage, but I got the template from the girls on the Catholic board. We are having a full mass, but templates for a ceremony outside of mass have been posted on that board.

About half of my guests are Catholic, so, I'm making the programs very detailed.

I posted a similar question a few months back and the common response was that people like programs on the detailed side (esp for a Catholic wedding).

Also, lots of Catholic churches require you to submit a draft of your program before the wedding. Because of this, the church office may have a template you can use. Check with your church to see if this is required.

Thank you Rachael! I didn't think to look on the Catholic board, I did contact the church, waiting on a response!
