Ann Arbor Photography

Hello ladies!
I'm getting very frustrated trying to to find a photgrapher in the area that is reasonably priced. I loved Amanda Williams Photography, but she is booked for my wedding date. I do NOT think spending over $1,500 for wedding photos is reasonable. I'm trying to find a package for less than that that includes at least 6 hours of coverage, a CD with copy rights, and one album.

Any suggestions? I've searched for HOURS!

    You should try checking out the vendor post at the top of the board.  It has information in that particular post as well as links to the past 3 vendor information polls.

    Also, you may want to phrase your question a little better because it makes it sound like anyone who spends more than 1500 is unreasonable which is not the case.  In the future, something along the lines of "my max budget is $1500" or something like that comes across a lot better.

    I've checked the vendor board, and I've found that a lot of vendors in our area aren't included, and I've looked at google forever! The way that I worded my post was that I don't believe its reasonable, but if anyone found it inappropriate/offensive, my apologies! Let's all be budget-wise adults when reading each others' posts! :)

    We did a lot of searching, as we were trying to keep it under $1,000. We decided to go with Essence of Life Photography (http://www.eolphotography.com/). They're located in South Lyon, but don't charge for travel anywhere in Michigan (we're getting married in Saline). We also considered Jennifer Ilene (http://www.jenniferilenephotography.com/). Both have really reasonable packages. check them out!

    Don't limit yourself to just Ann Arbor... pretty much every photographer is willing to travel.  Definitely check out photographers in the Detroit and even Toledo areas.  They will travel to A2, it's not that far at all!

    I have no experience with them, but I've heard good things about Wellspring Photography based out of Toledo.  And, they have a package in your price range.  wellspringphoto.com

    Pure Amour Photography has a package in your price as well.  pureamourphotography.com

      We are using Lovella Photography. It's $1500 for 8 hours with 2 photogs, the CD with printing rights (they let us sub the enagagement pic session for the CD) and a $300 print credit to use toward albums or pictures. The 6 hour pkg was $1200 and included a print credit as well, but I can't remember how much. And we're getting married in Ann Arbor and they have no problem travelling out here.
