DJ Crashers

Has anyone used them? I went to a bridal show at the palace and they are now emailing me a special. Seems good but I don't remember them from the show. Wondering if anyone used them and if it was a good or bad experience. Thanks!

Re: DJ Crashers

  • My brother used them and they did a great job! I don't remember the DJ's name they chose - but they were able to watch videos of each DJ working to get an idea of their personality. He played great music during dinner and kept people dancing through the night.

They also used their photobooth service. Recieved a flash drive with high-res versions of all the photos. The guy working the booth didn't do much - sat there looking grumpy, but they supplied fun props and the guests had a blast.

    Good luck choosing :)

(I'm going with Brendan - http://www.bestdjservice.com/ - very affordable and fun!)
  • We met with them about possibly booking them for our wedding. The price was good, but they were very unprofessional. The company is run by a mom and a son. We met at the son condo and he had another dj there too. They main guy had us go upstairs and basically said -here is a video, and here are the photo booth options (in a book) let me know if you have any questions. HUH? -The co-dj that was there with him , was in jogging pants and sloppy hoodie and was barefoot , he came and "plopped" down with us on the couch. They really rubbed us the wrong way. We found another company for the same price and the dj/owner was very personable.
    Just my review :-)

  • I agree with the lack of professionalism. I tried to set up a meeting with them and ended up needing to reschedule so my finace could be there. There was absolutly no follow through on their part, they didn't seem to be interested at all in our business so I booked elsewhere. I shouldn't have to beg for an appointment to meet you. Also didn't like the idea of going to their house....
  • Honestly, I met them at a show I went to and felt indifferent about them.  When they then called me, I said no.  To me, they were very unprofessional and didn't have the quality sound I was looking for.

Check out Mike Ziamba, owner of The Music Butler.  He's great and affordable.

  • Thanks everyone. I also spoke to Rod with Musicbox. I really like him, it's just a little more than I wanted to spend on just dj. Dj Crashers special included the up lighting and photo booth so I thought I would check them out but if they are that unprofessional then maybe I will pass.
  • we are using memory snappers for our photobooth, they also do a dj packaging too. Not sure if the prices went up at the first of the year or not, but they had the same price package at wedding crashers, and Ken the owner is easy to get along with and very peronable. I can give you his number and email if you'd like to check them out. Let me know

  • sorry, i meant to say they had the same package price as DJ crashers.

I can remeber their dj company name, i just found them through their photobooth site. They are listed here on The Knot too. Memory Snapper.
