DJ help!

Hello knotties! I need some advise from brides who have already had thier weddings on DJ suggestions.  We are looking for a DJ that will keep guest dancing all night and that will play our suggestions.  Price range is preferably under 1000.00.  Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Check out the vendor sticky at the top of boards.  And also check out the vendor reviews up there.  You should get some good ideas of who to use and then you can contact people individually to check about pricing.

I would check out Mary Ann Productions.  I loved her.  She was amazing!  She is part DJ part coordinator.  She has been doing this for many years and you can tell she knows what she is doing.  Plus not only will she play your requests she will make sure you are actually in the room to hear them :)

    Try Mike Staff productions  www.mikestaff.com

They DJ'd my friends wedding last year and did a great job...everyone was dancing and he really got people up out of there seats and excited!  And I think that it's close to you budget of $1000 for the night.

We used Mike Staff as well and our DJ was Dave LeVasser.  He was great and we had a TON of stuff that we asked be played and he played them and then mixed in songs to keep people out there.  Our dance floor was busy most of the night!

Pro Dj Services is amazing. You get to pick and choose the type of feeling for your reception. They will even start and teach dances like the hustle and cupid shuffle if you want.  They are highly interactive or you can tell them not to be. The prices are in your budget as well.

I have been to a few weddings with Silver Sounds in Canton.  We are using them for our wedding and I really like Diana the owner.  She is great to work with and very friendly.

We are using Mike from the Music Butler.  He has 2 packages, is super nice, does an excellent job and his prices are well under 1000!  I am so happy we found him!

We're also using Mike Staff, and you should be pretty much right on target with your budget if you go with them.

We used Josh from Big Foot DJs, and he was fabulous!  Great guy, brought an assistant, not cheesy at all and kept the dance floor moving all night long.  He even checked in on me a few times to see if I needed a drink or anything.  Definitely in your budget, too.  Tell him Alicia sent you.
