Shoes too simple?

As much as I want to have amazingly awesome wedding day shoes...its not me. Im not a shoe kind girl. I wear flip flops whenever possible. I want my feet to be comfy on the big day. And Im also 5'11, so anything over kitten heel is out of the question. I found 2 pairs at payless that are cute, simple, and most importantly cheap! What do you ladies think? Too lain jane for wedding day??

these are my fav of the 2

Realistically many people change after the ceremony anyways so I think its smart to just do so right from the get go! I think they are super cute and everyone will be looking at how beautiful you are and won't be looking at your shoes ! Go for comfort!!

I agree with pp.  Go for what is comfortable.  You don't need to spends tons of money on shoes and if you want to dress them up, buy the rhinestone I DO for the bottoms of the shoes.  Remember this is your wedding day and if you want to wear white tennis shoes you can!  :)

I am doing the same thing. I am 6'1 and if I wear any kind of heal I would be taller.   I actually want to wear tennis shoes under my dress at the reception  but for sure a pair of ballet flats from payless for me.

i would say they are fine and you could even jazz them up with a clip or something. of dye them if they are the dyables to your wedding colors. That would make them fun and awsome.

Definitely not too plain... NO one will notice your shoes, so go with what's comfortable to you!

I had the same concern and I honestly don't think a SINGLE person noticed my shoes.  If they're comfortable then go for it.  If you want to spice them up then I agree with PP, add a broach or other beading or dye them a fun color.

Go for what's comfy! If your dress is long enough, no one will see the shoes anyway! :)

Those are perfect for what you want/need.  However, I do like the PP's idea of adding a broach if you are looking for a little more flare.

thanks ladies! Love the ideas of adding little details like a broach or rhinestones! Great ideas, as always!

I think I will be stoping by Payless today to try them on!
