bag piper

So the church organist is being a *@$ and won't return anyone's calls ... now I need a ceremony musician. My mother had wanted a bag piper but never followed through.  Has anyone had a bag piper at their ceremony?  I found two on www.hudsonvalleyweddings.com, but since we are getting closer I'm worried they won't be available.Any suggestions?

Google your surrounding towns to see who has parades for St. Patrick's Day - check out their line ups and see what local organizations have bands.  You could probably find their website and contact someone directly.

I didn't use a piper at my wedding, but have several friends that did. His name is Scott Mettey and his phone number is 914-393-0805. He was great. Give him a try.

We had Bagpiper Richmond Johnston for my daughter's wedding.http://www.hudsonvalleyweddings.com/goods/inserts/bagpipe.htmHe was absolutely wonderful and a pleasant person to deal with.  You will not be disappointed if you end up using him!  By the way, he was a real hit with the guests!
