Ceremony location.

I am having a hard time finding a ceremony location semi close to our reception site in Rochester. We are expecting about 200 guests and would prefer something indoors in case the weather. I feel like I have spent DAYS trying to find somewhere that can hold us.FI is baptised but not confirmed, I was never baptised and we don't have the patience for going through a year of marriage classes, he also doesn't know  I just feel STUCK! I can't really start planning anything else until we figure out where our ceremony is going to be.grrrr

Does it have to be at a church or can it be somewhere else?  What is your price range for this location?  How far from Rochester are you willing to travel?

It doesn't have to be a church, I would just prefer it be inside. I don't really want to spend more than $1500 and prefer 45 minutes or less travel time.

Check out Oak Arbor Church in Rochester. The church is beautiful, they rent to non-members and it is within your budget. We are having our ceremony there and our reception in Bloomfield Hills.

We checked there and they already have a wedding booked for that day.

</div><div>I live in Rochester and we were having the same problem trying to find a nice inexpensive location that was indoors. We ended up picking the Lions Hall on Van Dyke just north of 26 mile rd. Very resonable in price, also has a gazebo for outdoor ceremony if you wish. Off hand I don't recall the capacity limit but it was decent. The only downside for me is that the dance floor is small but my friends and family will dance anywhere so it won't be a big issue in the end. Good luck!
