WR: attempt #2 at heading to secretary of state to change my license, lots of other name-change & bank errands, and changing the title for my car from my dad to me.  Also need to decide on thank you cards so we can start those.

NWR: doctor appointment, last dinner with my grandpa before he heads back to FL, probably also stopping by the ILs at some point

WR: I found our table numbers at Michaels, and someone gave me a coupon, so Im gonna go get those and start looking for the scrapbooking paper I need to decorate them.

NWR: WORK. I work long hours this week :-( My youngest is going through something and not sleeping well at night, which makes these 11hr days not fun.

For the next three weeks, I'm going to be in wedding planning over load!!

Tonight we are going to order our wedding bands (hopefully if my FI is feeling better since he got sick yesterday), we also are gonna go pick our menu sometime this week, Wednesday meeting with the church musician to pick our ceremony music, thursday my final hair cut and this weekend getting the table numbers done and starting the seating chart since RSVP's are due this Friday!

I'm also on my strict pre wedding diet/work out routine from now until the wedding.

    Where did this summer go???

    Morning!

WR: Shower is this weekend! Yay. I'll also be hunting for the guestbook. Nothing has really jumped out at me. But it's just the guestbook, so I'm going to get over that very fast

    NWR: Work and school. Blah

WR: Work on getting addresses for our STDs.  As expected this is taking longer than I thought.

NWR: Only working today through Wednesday, picking up my grandparents at the airport on Tuesday (after some frustration by my mom and her siblings "unable" to), Wednesday seeing the specialist, Thursday morning until Saturday I'll be on a mini vacation!

We close on our house on Wednesday!!  So we should probably start packing and whatnot too but I don't want to jinx anything :)

Good luck at the doctor's Megan!

Rachel - What new furniture did you get?!  Links?  I'm obsessed with decorating at the moment...

After thinking about it, I actually have some things to do this week!
    - Fill in the addresses for the shower and Rehearsal Dinner. FMIL has asked for numbers and lists, so I figure I should get it together now.
    - Speaking of addresses, FINISH getting addresses. MMR is right, it's freakin' hard! I did mine in like a week, but getting them from my mom and FI is taking forever.
    - Meeting with the florist this week so I'm excited to have some direction there.
    - Pick a bridesmaid dress. Maybe. I just can't pull the trigger.

I have to go to Davids Bridal to get the correct pieces for a bm dress I ordered. God I am so not a fan of their's.

Tonight we have an appointment at the florist. Which I am really excited for.

Saturday I am going to go dress shopping for the first time.

    So lots of wedding things.

Liz - of course you're obsessed...you just bought a house!! What is your first project? What are you most excited about? Is there a lot or a little to do?

I swear, the closer I get to the wedding, the more I belong on TN, because all I want to do is buy furniture and paint and put stuff up on the walls!

Here's the furniture we got for the master bedroom: "http://www.artvan.com/Furniture/Store/Product_Orleans-Collection_10051_10052_-1_800010523_20001_20000?N=0"

I'm bringing most of my furniture from my bedroom for the guest room, but my newest project is to find a vanity. Like an old school one with an oval mirror and covered bench :)

oooh I really like it Rachael!  Especially the headboard and oh my gosh the storage, the STORAGE!  It's actually somewhat similar to what Todd and I picked out:

I feel like you tried to buy a bedroom set before but it was too big?  Was that you?  I know some knottie did and was really disappointed because they had to return the furniture.

There are a lot of little pet projects that we have to do.  But we definitely have to PAINT.  Because of the open layout, everything is this mint green color and it's awful.  It would be really cute in a nursery but it is E.VERY.WHERE.  Although this means that Todd and I have to agree on a paint color which is proving to be a wee bit more difficult than I had anticipated.

Plus the woman loves her themes so there is a monkey bathroom (monkies and bananas painted on the walls) and "Cafe LastName" painted in the breakfast area.  The monkies are staying for the timebeing because that's not too bad but the breakfast area is getting painted ASAP because I don't need a constant reminder that this used to be someone else's house, KWIM?

We also have to fix the grading around the house (landscaping) but other than that it's just little stuff.  Although I can't wait to go on a Target and BBB shopping spree to buy all new "house" stuff.  Even if it's just garbage baskets and laundry room organization.  Yay for giftcards!!

LOL - no, we're both too much of planners to let that happen. We took the measurements and plotted out where the furniture will go crime-scene style with furniture outlines on the floor :)

Monkeys and bananas? Oh my. You know you'll be singing, "This sh!t is bananas - B-A-N-A-N-A-S!" every morning!

House stuff is fun! Doesn't matter if it's garbage cans and laundry baskets! They're YOUR garbage cans and laundry baskets!

Early congrats on the close :)
