Father-daughter dance song

My ex-stepfather is going to be having to walk me down the aisle. I'm having a real difficult time choosing a song that is going to play at the reception. I would love to have a song that expresses how our relationship of each other is. He has been the father that I have never before. Please feel free to share any songs that you would think would be great for the two of us. What song are you choosing to do for you and your father?

    My dad and I are dancing to Always on My Mind. It's an instrumental version with a harmonica, in honor of my grandpa (his dad). My dad picked out the song but I would have probably chosen it myself because it's something he and my grandpa used to sing all the time while my dad played guitar and my grandpa played the harmonica. I would ask your step dad if he has an idea for a song.

    My Dad and I are dancing to an instrumental version of Beauty and the Beast. I was obsessed with it as a little girl and he would watch it with me.

    Brad Paisley has a great song called, Dad you didn't have to be" or something like that.  Sounds like it might fit your situation.

    My dad and I are dancing to Never Alone by Lady Antebelum.  Found it on youtube so great!

    I agree with pp-- Brad Paisley's Song- "Dad he didn't have to be" is about a child and stepparent. That might be a perfect fit. :)
