WR: yesterday was one month for us!! NWR: FI got promoted He found out a few weeks ago, but his company just made it official I'm so proud of him and happy even though it means more travel and him being constantly tethered to his work phone/email.

WR: My veil came in yesterday! My whole wedding get-up is now in my hands! (well, in the closet at my mom's...and minus shoes/jewelery but you get the idea)

NWR: Tomorrow morning FI and I are leaving to spend the weekend at on Houghton Lake with my bestie and her husband. This is especially exciting because we honestly haven't spent any time together since her son was born last May! I mean, I go over and visit her & the little guy plenty and we take him out to lunch and whatnot, but we haven't hung out without the baby in...well...ever! Plus, with FI and I moving to GR in the next couple months, it means even more to me that we are getting this time together. Praying for good weather (since I already know I'll have good company!)

Sweet 16 today(16 days until the wedding lol)! I never thought being a teenager again would be fun.

We had our last counseling session yesterday which went great. The Pastor was so impressed by our love and dedication to each other. Hopefully the things we learned about ourselves and each other will make life easier for us.

I got like 4 packages in the mail yesterday. My flower girl dress had the wrong color sash so they sent me another one thank God. My wedding day fragrance came Sean Jean Empress love the way that smells.My wedding gift for my mom which was a sterling silver "Letter to mom" necklace from bed bath and beyond. super cute and explains to her exactly how I feel and I got my bachelorette party dress in the mail. The ladies picked a purple and black color theme


So here is my dress I got it from Macys and I love love love it. I am going to wear some nice black pumps and have a ball with most of my bridal party. My FSIL cant make it to the party she lives in DC and flying back for the party and then for the wedding was just too much which I totally understand. She felt bad about missing the party so she sent me a "drink" to my office yesterday


I Love getting flowers and yesterday was kind of a rough day so the flowers really made me smile. I just got a confirmation that my veil is being delivered today and a friend is going to let me borrow her crinny so I don't have to buy/rent one.

Paid off the lighting company, linen lady (she even threw in some free napkins and I am excited about that), the florist, Same flower sister in law paid off the limo so now we just have to pay off the reception hall on the 1st and the photographer after the wedding when we get the proof of the album. I am done with table number and all i have to do is print off my programs and make them into fan, escort cards, pom balls and a few other things and I will be DONE!

WR: Yesterday was one year, datewise!! We booked the hall last week for 8/24/12 Tho according to TK countdown, today is technically 365 days, because of LeapYear.

I "dressed" my wedding part on David's Bridal!
This will probably change some, but it made me happy to be able to see it and get an idea (I was trying to decide if them all different was going to bother me.  I didn't think it would and thankfully - it doesn't!  I love that they'll each get to express a bit of their personality):

I did my floral demo yesterday, and I loved how it looked!  I was so happy with how the arrangements came out. There is a big/full side and then a smaller vase for those who look at the "back" of the arrangement.

My Mom and I met with our coordinator at 'The Parsonage' when I was in Michigan a few weeks ago. They decided to put together a few centerpieces for us to see if we were on the same page so we could decide to move forward or not. 

We absolutely LOVED what they had put together for us. Here are some pictures I took:

It's still very early to know exactly what we will want for our big day, but it was very comforting to see them come through expecially after I was concerened from the lack of communication at first. We ended up booking them for flowers and linen and I couldn't be more pleased

Today is FI 31st Birthday. unfortunately he has to work tonight so we won't be spending any real quality time together. I am going with my girlfriend to dinner where he works so I will see him for a few.

My aww is that this morning I gave him the book of boudoir photos I had taken for him. I loved seeing him look at them and to see how surprised he was at the gift. Makes all the lies I told him worth it. He of course had a million questions like when and were.

I have an offer at an excellent lab for a postdoc out in California after a successful interview on Friday & Monday. I am looking at three other labs next week, so I might have four excellent choices for postdocs!! This brings me that much closer to joining my FI after three long years apart!
