Invitation Question

I have smaller invitations, so there isn't really room to put the reception information on the ceremony invitation without making the font so small, it'd be unreadable.

I was thinking of doing a seperate card with the reception information on it. But I also don't want to waste all of that space on just the reception info, so I was going to add my wedding website information on there as well. Is this a bad idea? My mom doesn't like the idea, but I don't want to add yet another card in there that may get left in the envelope, forgotten about or add more to the postage. The wedding website has all of  the information for the hotel, directions, rsvping, etc. So its kind of helpful.

Any thoughts or other ideas about what to do?

Thanks for the help!

When the ceremony and reception are at separate locations proper etiquette says the reception invitation is on a separate card.  It is usually a smaller card than the wedding invitation.  Most invitation sets have these cards available.  It is separate from the information card that contains directions, hotel and website information.

I think the second reception card would be just fine and if you added the website onit I think it would still be alright.  We've gotten STD's that had the wedding website on it so I dont see why you couldn't do that to the reception card. You could always add it in smaller font. IE: For more detailed directions and local hotels and hotspots please visit our wedding website!

    Something like that maybe.

It's pretty standard to find more than one piece of paper inside of a wedding invitation.  I don't think it would get lost and I also like the idea of putting the website on the card as well.

I think you should put the reception info on a different card. If you have a block of rooms booked for your guests, you should also include that as well. When we went out our STD's, we included our wedding website on there but I don't think that many people have even looked at it. So you should include any important information in with the invite.
