I didn't want to ruin any surprises so I didn't stalk but after my first shower yesterday I am so eager for the rest of mine and all the other pre-wedding festivities! I was pleasantly surprised about how generous people were and I'm just so thankful!!

Congrats! Just think about all the awesome meals you'll be able to make with a proper set of pans my first gifts were a kitchen aid mixer and my cookware still my favs Stalking is so much fun - but then you hit that one day where no one buys anything and you get all depressed. It's sick - you're depressed because no one bought you anything - it's totally wrong.

I'm having a weird feeling of being left out - I already have a KitchenAid stand mixer, so I'm missing out on that rite of passage where you get one off your registry.    I'm soooo excited to cook with the new pans - I've never had a full set, just mix-n-match crappy ones from Meijer.  Yay!

Congratulations!! I am so looking forward to the registry excitement. FI and I took a special trip to BB&B so I could introduce him to Kitchen Aid stand mixers. Needless to say, he didn't really get what the big deal was

They're such a huge expense, but I have to say that my mixer is the single best purchase I've ever made.  With the amount of baking I do, it's paid for itself a million times over in the four or five years that I've had it.  And all the colors...!!!
